I love reading. I also love making lists of books I aspire to read. I love to keep a commonplace book. If you’re not familiar with commonplace books in short they’re journals for readers.
There are many great sources online that better explain commonplace books but that’s my bite-sized explanation.
I enjoy reading spiritual books and classic literature. I took many English courses at my university and left with a love of the great classics; but no English degree. I’ve been asked many time why don’t I go back to complete my degree if I’m so passionate about literature.
A short, reason why is because it’s too expensive and I have no real application for the degree. I admire people who have it. Those especially who have professions sharing their love of literature. However, for me, this blog is perfect. I don’t need a degree for running my blog and sharing my love of books with you.
At this time, I’m a stay at home/ homeschool mom, and a freelance writer. Aside from my love of reading I also love to share my love of writing with the internet.
Aside from that, I’m a wife to a blogger/podcaster and senior software developer. We’re high school sweethearts and he’s my best friend.
My hobbies include photography, playing music, and volunteering at my church. Well, that’s enough about me.
